back again with new issue ^_^
issue about teachers...i'm gonna b a teacher in a few months times....so have to prepare myself, mentally, physically, emotionally ^_^
being a teacher in nowadays' world is no more simple...
people used to say "keja cikgu ni senang"...i dun think this statement is applicable now...
bt there r still people who value teachers as they are...me n my friends had this conversation on today's trend on how people hv started to value teachers as important people...
nt all of them like that but still there are people out there who see teachers as their "heroes"...
somehow wherever you go, people can see that u r a teacher....
this is what 1 of my friends had experienced...when she asked that particular person how did he know that she is a teacher???
he said "cikgu ni cara dia bawak diri lain ckit.....cara bercakap pun lain...so mmg tau la org tu ckgu even dr cr dia cakap.."
somehow i feel that all of us bring this BIG T = TEACHER on our head n everybody knows that we r a teacher when they see the BIG T...
bt again nt all teachers are classifiable and recognizable ^_^
nevertheless, there r also lots of incidents whereby teachers' honour are being degraded...teachers hv turned into nannies, slaves, rather than educators, facilitators...
teachers dun hv the right to force students to do homework, if they force students to do it, it is called dera...
when teachers denda the students for nt completing their homework, students n parents would be hand in hand to "humiliate" teachers to ask for an apology...
this should nt happen...
that is y MOST students nowadays hv turned into unruly ones as they know nobody will do anything to them...they have the power to even degrade the teachers....
i feel sad reading 1 of the newspaper reports about the incident whereby a teacher's car was set into a blaze JUST because she gave homework to her students....
there r also teachers who are being hit just because of homeworks...
i'm sure teachers hv reasonable explanation on whatever that they do unless we can see that their actions r out of the ettiques as teachers...
nowadays everything would be like teachers' fault....when the students r nt performing well in their studies, their parents will blame teachers...
the roles of teachers are seen as nannies only- to take care of thier children bcoz they dun hv time to look after them bcoz of work....
apa nak jd ni???
the society should change this perception... give more respects to teachers...i dun say this just becoz i gonna be a teacher bt i really think that teachers deserve some respects from others....there r lots of good teachers out there..who r burning the midnight oil searching and thinking for ways to improve their students' performance....
being a teacher does nt always involve bad experience....
there r also stories about successful teachers with good students who highly respect her/him....
so teachers....dun feel bad or sad...strive for the better...develop ourselves personally or professionally...insyaallah when our intentions r good, i'm really sure Allah will help and make our journay easier....chaiyok2^_^
